1Preparatory

Registration

  • Apply by letter to Zonal Director.
  • The application has to be attached with a proposal/business plan/write-up for establishing the Centre.
  • The establishment of the VTC has to be guided with the Procedures and Guidelines for Registration of VTCs and the Manual for establishing VTCs which indicates the Minimum requirements (standards) for establishing a Centre.
  • A potential provider/owner/investor will be issued with a preparatory letter which indicates the preparatory period. The preparatory period will depend on the business plan provided by applicant. Under this stage, no training provision is allowed.
  • The Zonal Director may course for investigation on the correctness of information provided by the applicant.
  • A format of the proposal to guide the applicant is available upon paying non refundable fee, currently Tshs 5,000/-.
  • Consultation with the Zonal office is encouraged.
  • The Procedures and Guidelines for Registration of VTCs and the Manual for Establishing a VTC are available at Zonal Office and can be purchased by those issued with a Preparatory Letter, currently at Tshs 10,000/= each
  • NB: Existing centres not registered by VETA or were registered by VETA before 2010, but didn’t apply for re-registration by February 10th, 2010 must start at this stage.
